What We Do (And Why It Matters)
We build calculators. Over 2,000 of them. From mortgage payments to how many burpees you need to burn off a Sunday roast. Some are deadly serious—like working out your take-home pay after tax. Others are gloriously pointless—like converting your height into double-decker buses.
But here’s the thing: they’re all accurate, fast, and built specifically for the UK. No registration walls. No premium tiers. Just tools that work, designed for people who live here, pay taxes here, and occasionally wonder if their Greggs habit is tracking real inflation better than the ONS.
How This Started
Pro Calculator UK began with frustration. Our small team—developers, data nerds, and one person obsessed with British food references—kept hitting the same wall: finding a decent online calculator meant wading through clunky interfaces or tools that didn’t understand UK tax brackets.
So we built what we needed. Then we kept building. Mortgage calculators. VAT calculators. BMI calculators. Then someone asked, “What if we calculate how many Beatles songs fit into your commute?” And suddenly we had a whole category of Fun & Quirky calculators that people actually enjoyed using.
Today, we’re the UK’s most comprehensive calculator platform. And we’re still growing.
